If you are unsure, use this basic guideline. Windows desktops generate about 10Kbyte, Windows servers 1MB and Unix servers 5MB per day. Your mileage will vary and you can upgrade or downgrade at any time.

You can also choose our free logs plan which allows you to index up to 10MB of logs per day, but only store your data for 7 days. This plan is great to get started with but limits your ability to visualize trends or research events from the past.

Select the length of time that you want to store your logs for. Most customers select at least 90 days for trending and those with compliance requirements need the data for 1 year.

How can I try out the service?

All of our paid accounts include a 14 day Free Trial. If are not satisfied with the service at any point, contact us at so we can help. And no matter what, you can cancel your paying plan within 14 days of signing up and you will not be charged a thing. If you do choose to cancel your account after the initial 14 days you will not be charged again, but you are responsible for charges already incurred up until your cancellation. You may also choose our free plan which is ideal for small offices or people managing small Web sites with up to 10MB of total daily log volume and only 7 days of log data storage.

How does the pricing work?

You simply need to make two selections. First, you need to decide how much log data you want to index daily. If you are not sure what you have, don't worry, you can upgrade or downgrade your account at any point. Second, you need to select how long you want to store the log data for.

How many users can I have?

You can have as many users access your Paglo account as you want. The price is the same whether you have 1 or 25 administrators. There are no limits and we encourage that you make the service available to others who will benefit from being able to access the data.

Can I upgrade from the Free Plan to a paid account?

Absolutely. You can easily upgrade online to a paid account without any data loss. However, If you upgrade from a free account to a paid account you are not eligible for the 14 day Free Trial. The 14 day Free Trial for paying plans only applies if you sign up for a paying plan first.

What does the Free Plan include?

You can take advantage of the full power and flexibility of Paglo Logs for up to 10MB peak log volume per day. The free plan also includes log data storage for 7 days. In addition, you will automatically be set up with the Paglo IT service as well. You can take advantage of the full power and flexibility of Paglo IT for up to 20 devices. And we will store your data history (on variables that change like disk space, CPU utilization, and server configurations) for 7 days as well. If you have more than 20 devices, Paglo will still discover everything on your network, yet you will not be able to drill into or report on any of the additional assets. This plan also has a limited number of applications for managing your network and devices.

Is this a long-term commitment? Can we pay for one year in advance?

Paglo does not require any long term contracts of commitments on your part. It is designed to be a pay-as-you-go service. However, for some organizations it is easier to pay for a year or multiple years at one time and to lock in pre-payment savings up front. This is why we make the annual option available to you right at sign-up. You may also contact us directly at (650) 858-3120 if this is an option that you are interested in and we can work with you to configure a plan and term that meets your needs.

How does the annual plan work?

Signing up for the annual plan is a great idea as you lock in significant savings immediately and avoid having to make monthly payments. If you are new to Paglo and are just selecting a plan, you will receive 14 days to try the service at no cost. You can cancel at any point in the first 14 days. If you do not cancel your account during the initial 14 days, you will be charged for one year of service based on the plan that you selected.

Can I get a refund?

You can cancel at any time. However, Paglo does not offer refunds after the initial 14 day Free Trial period and does not prorate its fees for any given month or longer term commitment that you made (e.g. you prepaid for a year) if you cancel.

Can I change plans at any time?

Sure. And in most cases you can take care of this without talking to a human. Simply click on the "Account" link when you are logged in to Paglo. You can upgrade or downgrade at any point. Please just remember that we do not offer any refunds for the service if you downgrade or cancel your account.

What types of payment do you accept? Can you invoice us?

Paglo is set up to accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. And these options are our preferred means of payment. Yet, we understand that for some larger organizations it is easier to be invoiced for services. If you are a large organization that needs to customize a plan (e.g. you have more than 500 devices you want to index and manage through Paglo), please contact us at and we will work directly with you to get you started and set up the invoicing process.
