Network Map
Paglo's first optional extension is an application called the Network Map, a graphical, browseable representation of your network hierarchy and IT assets that you can pan, zoom, and drill-down, just like a city map. You can also specify queries from right inside the Map.
By default, the Network Map is listed on the Application page, where you can install or uninstall it at any time. Once it's installed, Paglo gathers information on the connectivity from the Search Index, and creates a matrix. When you add the Network Map to your Dashboard, it draws a map of your network connectivity.

Zoom determines detail
The degree of detail depends on how closely you zoom in. In the closest zoom, you see the highest level of detail about each device, such as IP address, MAC address, type of device, and device class.

As you zoom out by degrees, the devices become smaller and less information is displayed per device, until the individual devices condense into device aggregates. Each device aggregate displays information about what it contains, such as how many nodes, and the class of the parent node within the aggregate.
As you continue to zoom out, the aggregates also shrink and show less information, until they too condense into aggregate blocks at the farthest zoom.
